On a Monday morning, I take myself to the ouskirts of Marseille to photograph one of the city’s oldest coffee roasteries, Café Luciani. Stepping inside this family-owned gem feels like traveling back in time, where every little corner breathes tradition and authenticity.

From the moment I arrive, my eyes are drawn to the rich personality of this place, filled with memories of the past. At Café Luciani, everything is done by hand, and many of the materials seem to have remained unchanged since its beginnings in 1865. Like the old analog scale, still used to weigh every single bag of freshly roasted coffee beans.
