On a summer Sunday I was having brunch with a friend in a small greenhouse restaurant in Copenhagen. On our table stood a colourful bouquet of flowers that caught my attention. As I pointed my camera to it the lens was still out of focus, creating this beautiful blur of joyful colours. I clicked.

This photo was the start of Painting with my camera, a series in which I explore how to create colourful abstract artworks with the use of my camera. Resulting in blurry images that, for a moment, make you dream with open eyes.
