It was the end of February, I had just moved to Spain where the first signs of spring were present. Flowers were blossoming, birds were singing and the sun was warm and golden. Everything was new, which made me go around the area snapping many shots, inspired by all the fresh colours of nature in bloom. I like this shot because it’s not fully blurry and therefor a bit mysterious. As if there’s a veil covering what lies behind.

Primavera en invierno is part of Painting with my camera, a photo series in which I explore how to create colourful abstract artworks with the use of my camera. Resulting in blurry images that, for a moment, make you dream with open eyes.
